Fifth Harmony are back with a new sound and vibe. The group have just announced the title to their sophomore album called “7/27”. The name represents the group in a personal way as this is the date when the group were formed on “The X Factor USA”. If your not familiar with Fifth Harmony the group is made up of  Ally Brooke, Normani Kordei, Lauren Jauregui, Camila Cabello and Dinah Jane. Each member brings different vocal styles to the group but all their voices blend extremely well together.

The groups first full length debut album titled “Reflection” show cased a mix of uptempos, midtempos to soulful ballads that gave the chance to each girl to showcase their vocal talents on the tracks and shine collectively as a group. If you are a fan of girl groups that can genuinly sing and harmonize then i highly recommend you pick Reflection up. Their are tracks that are relateable and tracks to suit any mood your currently feeling.

Announcing the sophomore album “7/27” will be produced by some top music industry producers such as “Max Martin” and the producers “Stargate”, taking Fifth Harmony up the musical ladder by adding their producing golden touch. Songwriting will be delivered by some of the girls in the group aswell as outsiders such as “Tinashe” it is reported.

The first single “Work From Home” gives us, the public, of what maybe coming musically from the second album. The laid back vibe with a bass beat driving the track is quite catchy and melodic whilst giving fifth harmony credibility without a hint of desperation because its their first single and it must be successful.

The video shows the girls on a construction site interacting with their chosen love interest in different scenes from a construction work site. The chorus repeating and playing on the word “Work” before the girls singing “Work From Home”. The song was originally titled “Work” but as another popstar “Rihanna” dropped her single before the group the girls made the wise move to change their song title so there wasnt confusion or artistic conflict.

It will be interesting to hear and see the musical offerings “7/27” will bring to the music world but from what we have heard so far, Fifth Harmony are back with a new vibe!
