Production duo STREETS MADE INNOVATORS announce a string of Grime remixes in the lead up to their Remix EP out march 25th. Popular artists bringing the GRIME sound to the forefront have and are making Grime a popular choice for music listeners everywhere. Streets made innovators or S.M.I is Vando and Carnage, a duo from London. The Musicianship is shown at its best between the two who record their own live beats and intruments to produce raw and stripped back sounds for Other mc’s to put their voices on their creative tracks.
Hidden away in a north London studio for most of January 2016 the pair have already recorded an EPs worth of remixes as they take on some of the uk’s most recent bangers. The first of which, Wiley’s “One Step Further” dropped on soundcloud in December 2015 when it gathered support from the likes of Grm Daily, Link Up TV and Instagrime. Most recently, their exploits in the studio have resulted in the 2nd release, “Dubz” which is a minimal bass guitar driven remix of Jammz “Hit Then Run”.
The pair presented Big Narstie with the “Best Grime Act” award at the Urban Music Awards in 2014 and have “One To Watch” features in Mobo.com and Music Week to their name. The duo have a SOUNDCLOUD account which gives you an insight into their work as well as a YouTube, Facebook and twitter to keep grime fans and new listeners up to date with their latest musical offerings. Be sure to have your eyes and ears open with more talented remixes to drop before they gear up for the launch of their EP in march.
